Just turned ONE : Portrait Session St. Petersburg, FL

This little ball of cuteness recently had a birthday! The moment he came in, with mommy Melissa, he reminded me of my son Gavin at this age. Stocky and Strong and trying so hard to walk, but still stumbling and tumbling too! Good thing for diapers or those little bottoms would be so sore. I loved photographing this little man and his mommy. Thank you so much for your visit!

Pet Portrait Event: One Lucky Dog St. Petersburg

This past weekend was the Pet Portrait Event at One Lucky Dog on 4th Street in St. Pete. Oh My! Twenty dogs in two days. Lots of sloppy wet kisses and lot's of dog treats. I got my bark on and have being doing the doggie shuffle for several days now getting these images ready for the moms and pops of all these 'fur kids'. Loved every minute and I'm already looking forward to our 'Tails of Summer' Event at the studio. This will take place on August 1st and 2nd and the discounted session fee of $49 will be donated to the Pet Pal Animal Shelter. More information is coming very soon!!

For now, Meet Maxine! She's one of the more unique 'fur kids' I photographed. She's a hairless Chinese Crested. You should see her in her tutu:-)

Baby Portraits - Tampa, FL

This little peanut has a lot going in that little head of hers. Very inquisitive this one is for sure, always thinking. Her brother turned two last October and I was invited to follow him around the zoo for a photo session. We had so much fun!! I can't wait until they both come visit me in the studio.

Here she is sleeping in the window light. Little peaceful girl!

Family Photography Session: The Studio

Meet the Berman Family! I met Karen several weeks ago when she stopped by the studio while visiting Pinky's Painted Cottage. She was talking to me about her two daughters and how she wanted to get some family photographs taken. They live near by so we split the session in half, studio and their beautiful front yard! Here are few images from the studio segment!

Family Photography Session: The Studio

What an incredibly meaningful session this was. Lisa is a new principal at a local school and the very generous parents there chipped in to purchase her a photography session for her baby shower. This wasn't just any baby shower, Lisa adopted this beautiful baby girl from Ethiopia and says she's having an amazing time learning to be her mother.

Lisa, thank you!

Wedding Photography - St. Petersburg, FL

Weddings are not something I photograph often. I only hold about 10 slots open a year for them. Funny though, when I'm photographing one I wonder "Why don't I do this more often". They are so much fun. I'm attracted to energy, and they certainly provide that for me:-) I love to interact with the guests, and document all the memories....

Here are some snippets from the wedding of Sheri and Phil that I shot a couple of weeks ago at Sand Key park!

Pet Portrait Session and Pet Hurricane Safety : St. Petersburg, FL

Ribbie, a 16 week old Absolutely Adorable, Cocker Spaniel!

Are you ready? Hurricane season officially began on June 1st. Make sure you have a plan for your beloved 'fur kids' if we become a target this year. The SPCA has a great article on their website to help you prepare. Here is the Survival Kit for your pets:

Pet Survival Kit

Have your pet's cage or carrier and a Doggy Disaster or Kitty Catastrophe Supply Kit prepared in advance regardless of evacuation requirements. Keep these items in a watertight container, insuring that they are easily accessible in the event of sudden evacuation. Be certain to label all items with a tag or waterproof marker. A pet survival kit is imperative whether evacuating or not, and should include the following items:

  • Collar with tags & a sturdy leash and muzzle, if necessary
  • Any necessary medications - 2 weeks supply
  • Medical records & vaccination info
  • First aid kit
  • Food and water - at least 2 weeks supply
  • Ziplock bags for treats and important papers
  • Cat litter, pan, and liners
  • Plastic trash bags to handle waste
  • Newspaper and paper towels for clean ups
  • Toys and other comfort items
  • Photo of your pet
Please visit the SPCA website for more information!
