What a week! A completely jam-packed, and emotional week to say the least. It seems whenever you're completely maxed out is when more is added to your plate and it's always worse when it's emotional. To know me is to know that my pets are a part of the family, for better or worse, and I love them with all my heart. Many of you understand this completely. My kitty, my love, Putter, was involved in a terrible trauma on Monday and it seems that he has severe nerve damage to his back end, including urination. He's been in and out of the emergency vet and his wonderful veterinarians at Gulf Animal Hospital many times this week and it's not over. He's on five different medications and there is an all too possible chance that the nerve damage will never recover. It's horribly sad for me to see him this way. He is the favorite to many friends and family that know him. He is a love in so many ways and it's hard to know how badly he was hurt and that his life may never be the same. I'm holding out hope on this newly introduced medication, to his regime, that he will pull through this. For those of you who don't know him, here's Putter!

The Wee Gallery Family
This is Surya and David and their two absolutely beautiful children. They are the owners and creators of Wee Gallery, a line of products for babies designed to stimulate learning at different ages.
I had such a great morning photographing this family. We started out at the beach, but didn't stay long. It was the coldest morning we've had yet here in St. Petersburg and the wind was blowing hard. So instead we went back to their lovely abode.

SPCA Pet Walk - Calling all Dogs!
WARNING!! This post is too long and may cause heart palpitations and/or a lack of getting back to work. It is strongly advised that if you have a love of dogs that you proceed with caution!
This past Saturday was the SPCA's annual Pet Walk in Downtown St. Petersburg. It was estimated to attract aver 1000 dogs and their people. We were there with Dig Dog Art in booth 31, meeting and greeting all the canines and observing the great costumes. They came as clowns, sheriffs, jailbirds, ladybugs, angels, bumble bees, and they came showing support for the Rays! It was stimulation overload for them as well as for me. You couldn't turn around with out bumping in to another cute dog!
It wasn't long before they were hot and tired. They found relief in water bowls, in the shade and by laying on mounds of ice.
It was a wonderful Dog day!

All alone in EPCOT!!
In my excitement to visit the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival this weekend, I thought I'd revisit another recent trip to my favorite park of the Disney conglomerate!
I've always been a big believer in continuing education and I'm no different with my photography. In August I attended the Florida Professional Photographers Convention in Orlando. How excited was I when one of the classes offered was a trip into EPCOT to work on portraiture in the outdoor setting... BEFORE the doors even opened!!! Wooo Hooo! I'm in!
It was a photographers and Disney lovers dream. Of course we had professional models that allowed us to focus on technique and camera settings, because they always looked and posed perfectly. Our instructor, Kalen Henderson, was awesome and we learned a lot from her.
Here are some of the shots from the day!

Kevin and Maii
This past weekend, Michael and I attended the wedding of one of our very closest friends, Kevin. Kevin is a very special guy and very near and dear to our hearts, so when he finally found Maii, after several girls that truly didn't appreciate him for how special he is, we were elated!
The wedding took place on the island of Cabbage Key which you get to by boat from Pine Island near Ft. Myers, Fl. It was a simple gathering of fourteen close friends and family members.
Congratulations you two!! We love you dearly!
