Happy New Year !!

Wow, what a year this has been and 2009 is shaping up to be absolutely amazing. We have so many really cool things happening here and it's going to be so hard for me not to share them too soon. Anyway, to end this year I wanted to share with you two places that we have recently displayed our work. You may already be familiar with Stellie Bellie's here in St. Petersburg. It's only one of the very best children and maternity consignment stores there is!! Please go say hello to Stella and check out our newest line of extra awesome frames we are now carrying!! You can also view our work at Divine Doggy, a really great Doggie Daycare and Grooming boutique, also located in St. Petersburg at 6925 4th St. Larissa is the owner and 'fur kid' lover. You must go visit her and Blue!!

A BIG Thank you to both Larrisa and Stella for helping us to make 2008 what's it's been for us, and that's GREAT!!

The Putter Update!

Thank you all for your concerns about our kitty, Putter! It was getting really dismal there for several weeks, but we were determined to give him as much time as possible, trying different medications with vet visits regularly. That determination is paying off and as of this past week he's improving. I take him to the vet daily to have his bladder expressed now, and unlike before he hasn't had to be put under to do it. We certainly didn't want that quality of life for him. The daily trips to the vet have been quite an addition to my daily routine and I've had discussions with my husband and mom about how adapting our lives really are. Just when you think you can't add another thing to your plate.... Now it's just part of the routine and I wouldn't have it any other way. He's a love and I'm keeping very positive that this recent change is here to stay.

Here he is under the Christmas Tree!

Santa Fest 2008 Welcomes the Pit Bulls!

I was out for the dogs again this past weekend in support of the American Pit Bulls. A group of beautiful pit bulls from the Mid Florida American Pit Bull Terrier Association participated in the children's parade at this years Santa Fest in Ybor City. I was there with Lisa Presnail of South Tampa Photography. She is also one of the founders of Little Pet Project, an organization that raises interest and support for the benefit of homeless and abused animals by raising awareness to their plight.

Here are some of the incredibly sweet Pit Bulls that participated in the Parade and some other friends that viewed the parade from Gaspar's Grotto!

All in the Family!

My sister and niece came down from NY for a visit about a month ago now. We found a small bit of time to have a mini-session for holiday cards and portraits. This was my favorite! If you find yourself in NYC, my sister owns a bar on the Lower East Side called The Blue Seats, check it out!

It's Deja vu!

I've certainly had my share of super cute children to photograph lately. For the second weekend in a row I've had a session with a duo of brothers. This past Sunday morning I met with the Dowling Boys, friends of the Quick Boys from last weekend. Take a peek and you'll see how the younger ones could be brothers themselves. I had such a blast photographing these guys, and I love how these shots came out. It was the boys idea to squeeze themselves into the cut-out in the brick. They seemed to gravitate to it. Nice!

Anne, it was great meeting you, a fellow New Yorker:-) Well, I am at heart anyway. Thank you!!

The Sharkey's Holiday Card Session!

Yes, the Sharkey Family managed to squeeze in our very own family session over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We're not spilling the beans with the shots used in our card this year, but here are some others from the session. A little sweet, a little kookie! That's us!

Mattie

I so love to photograph pets! It never seems like work at all following a dog around and getting kisses.

Thank you so much Jo Ann for asking me to come photograph your new baby, Mattie. What a sweet little girlie she is. It was my pleasure to be the one to introduce her to different areas of the house!

The Quick Boys

I couldn't have chosen two better models. They're so cute and it didn't take much to get them going in front of the camera. We spent almost two hours together downtown St. Petersburg and the camera ate these two up!! Thank you to mom Jade for reaching out to me after our brief meeting at the One Lucky Dog pet boutique.

Introducing, the Quick Boys!

And for some real boy fun now!

I am '2' at the Zoo!

This little guy just turned 2. I met his family at Lowry Park Zoo where they went to celebrate his special day! His mommy Julia is expecting his little sister in a few months, so it's nice to get some special mommy and daddy alone time now. Thank you all for inviting me to share a couple of hours with you!

The other sister!

Once upon a time not so long ago.... Here is Sara, the missing link of Jenna and Sara. I recently met up with her and mom Colleen to deliver their holiday cards and I was enthusiastically greeted with the model release. So I'm now able to show off some of little sister Sara's lovely images from the session back in July!!

'Holiday Wishes'

'Holiday Wishes' has almost wrapped up for 2008. At least the sessions are complete and the editing is in full swing. The Beach sessions are in the ordering process, with the Park sessions shortly behind.

So many thanks go out to the 14 families who participated this year and to all my many helpers, you know who you are. I've pulled together some of my favorites for everyone to view.

Enjoy!
